Elena Margulies Snyderman is a senior manager in the Financial Services Group at Eisner Amper, a leading accounting firm. Elena, a well-known investment industry reporter and writer, concentrates on developing articles, opinion phases and original research designed to help illuminate the most challenging issues confronting fund managers and executives. Elena works with the financial services team to identify relevant information and provide a thoughtful analysis addressing fund performance and other issues facing the industry. Her knowledge and clarity of style, combined with the technical expertise of the firm's accountants, produces content with unique value.

Prior to joining the firm, Elana was chief reporter at Pageant Media's Hedge Fund Manager Week (HFMWeek). She has written and researched numerous articles for leading publications, including Institutional Investor's Alternative Investment News. Her breaking news coverage of hedge funds, funds of hedge funds, private equity and other alternative investments including liquid alternatives, has earned her a reputation as one of the asset management industry's most respected voices.

Elena received her B.A. with honors from Brandeis University and master's degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. She holds leadership positions with a number of industry networking groups and not-for-profits, most notably Young Jewish Professionals (YJP) in Hedge Funds. She also co-founded and serves on the board of directors for Phyt Cares, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to educating New York City's youth through fitness.
