Maria is a Director with Arabesque Partners, a specialist environmental, social and governance (ESG) Quant fund manager. Arabesque's mission is to take sustainability into the mainstream by using a finance as a catalyst for change, for the benefit of all. Arabesque is using an investment technology that process over 100 billion data points to select stocks with the aim of delivering superior returns, integrating environmental, social and governance information with quantitative strategies.

Prior to joining Arabesque Partners, Maria was with the Clinton Global Initiative where she curated CGI's Annual Meeting covering health, climate change, energy, education, infrastructure, tech, social enterprises, gender equity and economic development issues, with a special focus on sustainable finance and impact investing.

She's also the co-founder of BellPal, a tech company providing predictive personalized eHealth tools and services for seniors. Maria attended Humboldt University Berlin, Berlin Institute of Technology, Uppsala university with a BA in Political Science and a MS in Business and Economics. Maria is from Sweden and lives in New York.
