Sharon is CEO and Founder of SREvolve LLC, where she advises business leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry-leading C-Level executives on strategic direction and development.  Sharon works in anticipation of, and response to, the needs of her clients who are looking for new approaches to address persistent challenges, and to amplify results.  Leveraging her 20 plus years of financial services experience working with industry leaders, she serves as a business advisor to transitional and growth-focused companies in various phases of their company life cycle. Client industries span financial services, luxury goods, technology, real estate, publishing, and distribution.  Throughout her career, she has developed, led, and executed complex business initiatives involving business reorganizations, distribution strategies, mergers and acquisitions, creative joint ventures, and other forward-thinking business associations across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Sharon has worked closely with boards on matters related to enterprise and brand optimization. Using a risk-reward model, Sharon has made the business case and executed the strategies for explosive growth, establishing herself time and again as a high value intrapreneur.  As a result of her board collaboration and board service she has been recognized in the 2014 annual report of Boards & Directors magazine as a Director to Watch.

Prior to SREvolve LLC, while at Credit Suisse Asset Management, a then $400B provider of global investment solutions, Sharon was a key advisor to the firm’s Global CEO on all strategic and client-related issues. Sharon led the revitalization of the firm’s talent base and built an integrated culture after it had splintered as the result of numerous acquisitions, lift outs, and senior leadership departures. Her success in creating a multi-national cultural protocol culminated into launching the first comprehensive analysis of the firm’s global product and leadership gaps. As a result of the findings, Sharon addressed subscale, noncore, and capital-consuming operations, improve alignment and simplify delivery by leading initiatives for right people-right jobs, right products-right business lines, and client needs with best expertise.

Before Credit Suisse, Sharon was Managing Director, Global Head of Transition Management at Citigroup Global Markets. She was asked to join Citigroup as a conduit for growth and innovation by creating a new business approach and client segment for a market that had previously not been directly served by an investment bank or trading business. Sharon and her team successfully launched a global platform creating direct access and streamlined all investments within one engagement. This new approach positioned Citigroup as an aggressive market entrant. Within just 18 months, Citigroup achieved a market leadership position.

In 1996, Sharon shifted her focus from working in the financial services industry as a lawyer to joining the industry as a Principal, making key contributions in the areas of product development, post-merger integration, and rebuilding. Her first position in this capacity was with Bankers Trust where she gained structured fixed income trading, alternative investment and product development experience. After the merger of Bankers Trust with Deutsche Asset Management, Sharon managed significant aspects of the integration playing a key role in rebuilding the division after numerous post-merger departures. She was also a member of the team that hired and on-boarded new senior management.

Sharon became Deutsche’s Global Head of Product Development in 1999. She engineered Joint Venture, M&A, and integration strategies developing cutting edge investment platforms, including an alternative investment platform and private equity products. She founded and Chaired the firm’s Global New Product Committee and was a Member of the Investment Committee. She pioneered many unique relationships (sub-advisory partnerships and JVs) with pension funds, government and monetary authorities, financial institutions, banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, and insurance companies.

In 2000, Sharon was tapped to lead another critical area within Deutsche Asset Management. As Global Head of Transition Management, she held full P&L and team responsibilities for developing a “best in class” global business model that addressed the needs of diverse multi-national business standards, market environments, client demands, and a competitive landscape point of view. Her global team focused on advising clients on risk and portfolio restructuring approaches. Within a two-year period, the new model attained an increase in revenue of more than 300%. Sharon also led several unique internal initiatives, including the evaluation and organizational restructuring of the investment team to best integrate a $30B Scudder Equities and Fixed Income portfolio post acquisition.

Sharon launched her career (1991-1996) as the Associate General Counsel for a Managed Futures investment business (including commodity funds) and also served as a commodities and hedge fund lawyer in the Financial Markets Practice Group of a large national law firm. This experience shaped her approach to business, which includes thoughtful risk and reward-based analyses, decision economics, the ability to facilitate and negotiate through complex and challenging situations, and a perspective on global regulatory matters.
